Launch of Healthy Club Campaign and Junior Presentation
Last Saturday night saw the launch of the Silvermines GAA Healthy Club campaign in Hickey’s Bar, Silvermines in tandem with a presentation to the 2024 and 2025 Junior ‘B’ hurling panels and management sides. Over the two years the sides won a North Tipperary Junior ‘B’ hurling league, two North championship titles and one county championship win.
Medals were presented to the 2024 league and North champions and the 2025 North and county championship winning sides along with training tops kindly sponsored by Silvermines based businessman, Kelvin Young of Carpets ‘R’ Us Ireland.
A special presentation was also made to Margaret, Cathal and Ronan Gleeson to honour the memory of the club’s former chairperson, Liam Gleeson, and in recognition of Liam’s work and dedication to the club over his lifetime.
A raffle in support of Eddie Hynes’ upcoming run in aid of Midlands Living Links also took place.
A huge thanks to everyone who supported on the night and a big thank you also to Tommy Hickey and his staff on what was a very enjoyable night for the club.
