Junior ‘B’ Hurling
Congratulations to our Junior ‘B’ hurlers who are through to this year’s North final against Knockshegowna following a convincing 2-15 to 1-10win over Moneygall in Dolla on Saturday evening.
Silvermines led 1-8 to 0-3 at the break following a 14th minute Eamon Corcoran goal followed by points from Danny Keogh, Pa Steed, Niall Curran and Ronan Cuneen (free) in what proved a good half for the home side.
Silvermines pushed on after the break with further points from Dan Ryan, Ronan Cunneen (free), Orrie Quirke and Niall Curran before a 28th minute goal from Brian Leamy put the outcome well and truly beyond any doubt.
